I think you may be on to something Rust.

Both my youngest perfer character generation. My daughter was very impressed with City of Heros, which allowed for great diveristy in your character. She has one character per account, and only on server where I play. Quite different.

Gorgo is starting to want to level his characters, and he admires his brother's higher level guys. This summer, we plan on really honing his reading skills. We think that once he can read the quests better, he'll spend more time on his favorites and level quickly.

Another thing I noticed it that he's got a tendency to pick melee classes. He is not as impressed with the magical classes.

Welcome to the site - and thanks for posting :)

That's an awesome collection.

Our elder daughter is restricted to only characters on my account. When she played toontown, she had several low level characters and did the creation process a lot. Now that she's entwined with us in EQ2, she has about four characters ranging from 6 to 19. :)

Do you suppose there's something about the creation of the characters that the kids like more than the xp-grind?

Ya-think?
